Our story

Some history
you can hold.

Bitcoin is digital. Its collecting history is also physical.

From early coins carrying concealed keys to modern silver and gold collectibles, these objects tell a story of technology, design and the people who made them.

NUMISATO brings that history together through documented records and carefully attributed photography. Our ambition is a useful, lasting reference for collectors, makers and researchers.

We are independent of the makers and sellers featured. The archive is a work in progress, and corrections are welcome.
